After 24 years by the canal, Hampus caught his biggest perch there – with his son beside him.
Angler Hampus Rosberg has fished in Malmö's canal for 24 years. A couple of weeks ago, while there with his eight-year-old son, a record-sized perch suddenly bit – the biggest he has caught in the canal. "It was like a dream," he says. The fish was quickly released back into the water. On Sunday 25 October it is Perch Day, when families can try fishing for perch in the canal.
