Malmö researchers develop nanocapsules for iron fortification

Rita Del Giudice and Marité Càrdenas at Malmö University have developed BoostNCaps, nanocapsules using the iron-binding protein lactoferrin. The approach is intended to facilitate iron uptake from fortified foods.
