PLX wants to bring Malmö residents together at Saturnushuset
Art, music, food and new connections are part of the cultural association’s plans for the Sofielund building.
The cultural association PLX has presented an idea for an open cultural house in Saturnushuset, at the corner of Ystadgatan and Lantmannagatan. On 27 August, MKB announced that it was selling the building to the association. PLX wants to bring public cultural experiences and creative activities together, with room for art, music and food. The idea is for people to gather and share experiences. The cultural house remains a plan, not an already open venue, but the sale gives the initiative a concrete starting point.
