Malmö named Tree City of the World for the sixth time
The city’s long-term work with trees earns international recognition.
In March, Malmö City reported that it had again made the Tree Cities of the World list, this time for 2025. The recognition from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and the Arbor Day Foundation highlights the city’s work with trees and its dedicated tree budget.
